My parents have had the worst time heating plus cooling their large living room. It’s a fantastic room, with massive ceilings, large windows, plus a huge wood burning fireplace, but all of this beauty is difficult to enjoy when they’re too hot or too cold. This is the issue that they’ve been having. No matter how many times my parents read about Heating, Ventilation & A/C systems plus try to implement the energy savings tips that they read about, nothing seems to help them. It is like their living room doesn’t even have heat or air installed in there at all. They say that it doesn’t feel like their air conditioner or furnace seem to be running, even though they have it programmed to run on a constant basis. The temperature in their living room never seems to improve. Their indoor air conditions in their living room never seems all that fantastic either. It is like they are living outside, even though they are inside. At least their windows are fantastic plus they aren’t getting rained on while inside their own home. However, there’s still an awful draft coming from somewhere, and their heating plus cooling doesn’t seem to make a single bit of difference. They called their local Heating, Ventilation & A/C supplier to see if they could offer any suggestions, plus they said that their original contractor for the home honestly should’ve warned them that they would have this issue with their heating plus cooling system due to the size of the room. At this point, they would have to agree! The Heating, Ventilation & A/C specialist that they spoke with mentioned that they should try adding a ductless mini split unit to help with their heating plus cooling complications in their living room.
