The furnace needed a second repair

My wife and I called a contractor when our Furnace needed to be repaired. We had some issues earlier in the month with the ignition switch, but I managed to fix that problem on my own without calling for a professional. When the furnace broke down the second time, I decided to call a professional. My wife and I couldn’t get an appointment on the same day, because it was late in the evening when we called the heating company. They scheduled an appointment for us to see a technician first thing in the morning. The heating technician repaired the ignition switch again and advised us that it may go bad again and that would signal the necessity for a brand new furnace. A few days after the repair was completed, the furnace stopped working again. My wife and I called the same company, so they could come check on the furnace again. They came to our home as soon as we called, because we already had service with them earlier that week. The heating technician gave us the bad news that we already suspected. We needed to buy a new gas furnace for the house. He gave us a couple of different options to suit our needs and my wife and I had to pick something from the catalog before they could begin the new installation process. The new gas furnace was very expensive, but it comes with a three-year warranty that covers everything that can possibly go wrong with the machine. We also have a 1 year service plan that includes maintenance on our machine.
