They are going to be running a heating preventative maintenance special at the local HVAC company that I use.
I found out about it a couple of weeks ago and I think I’m going to wait to get it done until they start offering the discounted price.
I was already planning to get some heating preventative maintenance work done on my old oil furnace because it definitely needed it. This oil furnace has been in my house since they first built it thirty years ago! I mean, I guess they really don’t make things like they used to, that’s for sure. I can’t believe that the oil furnace is still even running in the first place! But, I was glad that it was still working and heating up my house every single winter and it was showing no signs of stopping. This is always good news for me, every single time that the heating system seems like it’s going to work through another winter. That’s always one less thing for me to have to worry about, but I have to admit that I was really just waiting for it to die on me so it’s always a little bit of a relief. I make sure to go ahead and get the heating preventative maintenance work done on the furnace each year. I’m sure that having the heating system looked at by a professional HVAC technician really has a lot to do with why it has lasted so long in the first place. Now that I’m going to be able to save some money on the heating maintenance, that’s even better for me!
