Which I guess was absolutely kind of him
I work at an Heating as well as A/C supplier doing their laptop data, but i take care of all the Heating as well as A/C appointment bookings plus the billing; The other afternoon while I was toiling, the laptop plan was running actually slow! It was so slow, that it ended up nearly crashing; And this was causing issues while trying to enter in several heating plus a/c repair plus replacement appointments that had come in earlier that afternoon. I told the boss what was going on plus it seemed the laptop had a small virus of some kind. They had to call out a laptop repair professional. In the meantime, I was having to write out all of the heating plus a/c repair plus replacement appointments by hand. This was a major pain in the rear plus a lot of extra work! It was taking me twice as long to do my task plus I did not like it a single bit, even back before PCs were the thing of the world, you still had a primitive laptop to enter this information on heating plus a/c appointments into! At least in my time on this earth. And I am almost 50 years old! Because of the laptop issues plus the extra work of having to hand write all of the heating plus a/c appointments, my boss ended up giving me a dollar more per hour for the afternoon. Which I guess was absolutely kind of him. He did not actually have to do that, but he did. I have a superb boss.
