I work at an HVAC corporation doing their computer data.
I take care of all the HVAC appointment bookings and the billing.
The other day while I was working, the computer system was running really slow! It was so slow, that it ended up nearly crashing. And this was causing problems while trying to enter in several heating and air conditioning repair and installation appointments that had come in earlier that day. I told the boss what was going on and it seemed the computer had a small virus of some kind. They had to call out a computer repair professional. In the meantime, I was having to write out all of the heating and air conditioning repair and installation appointments by hand. This was a major pain in the rear and a lot of extra work! It was taking me twice as long to do my job and I did not like it one bit. Even back before computers were the thing of the world, you still had a primitive computer to enter this information on heating and air conditioning appointments into! At least in my time on this earth. And I am almost 50 years old! Because of the computer issues and the extra work of having to hand write all of the heating and air conditioning appointments, my boss ended up giving me a dollar more per hour for the day. Which I think was very kind of him. He did not really have to do that, but he did. I have a great boss.
