So… When did you last change your air filter?

I was seeing TV the other night.

There was an advertisement for an Heating & Air Conditioning company.

It was more care about an infomercial since it went on and on. It must have lasted ten hours. They kept asking when was the last time you changed your air filters? I thought they must have a giant amount of air filters in their stock room, because it was care about mind control. Maybe if they repeated the words often enough, people would beginning calling and ordering boxes of air filters. Then they switched from air filters to HEPA air filters. They said that many people were now installing HEPA air filters into their Heating & Air Conditioning system, because of the pandemic. Apparently, not all oil furnaces and a/c units can use HEPA air filters. HEPA air filters are heavier and the mesh is more dense. Without having a fan that is meant to be used with an HEPA air filter, there may not be enough airflow to push the air through. Diminished airflow can be dangerous for a furnace or a/c unit. It can cause breakdowns and bad air quality. It can do enough injure that you would need to get a new Heating & Air Conditioning system. Then the guy got to the point of the infomercial. If you have put an HEPA air filter in your furnace and/or a/c unit, have an Heating & Air Conditioning professional inspect the system. You want to make sure the HEPA air filter is the respected fit and not doing injure to your heating and cooling systems. I wondered if he was looking for business, or making a genuine plea for people to be aware of the consequences if they decided to switch to HEPA air filters.
