This was costing us a fortune, and since it was winter at the time, it was putting an enormous strain on the heater. Also, we weren’t very happy about having to interrupt our jobs to walk to the living room and adjust the temperature. My husband and I decided to consult with a reputable HVAC company who made the suggestion that we update our system to zone control with a smart thermostat. My husband and I are now able to adjust each zone in our house to an independent temperature. We can keep our office at the perfect temperature without impacting the rest of the house. We can also make changes to temperature, fan speed, and air quality from our smartphones. These updates have greatly improved our comfort level and saved us a great deal of money.
