Every so often, while my daughter takes her day nap, I love to rest downstairs plus have some alone time, but I take the monitor with me that has a video screen so I can watch her from the other room, however on the screen, the temperature of the room she is in is also displayed.
I started to see recently that the temperature in the room was quite higher than in the rest of the home, but the temperature in our daughter’s room was nearly 75 degrees sureterday when the temperature control was set to 75.
I began to wonder if this was due to the location of her room. Her living room is placed almost directly over the garage. The garage is unbearably warm while I was in the Summer months, and we were almost to summer. I turned the fan on in her room plus that seemed to help a little; After a couple more months of monitoring the temperature in our daughters room, I decided that I wanted to purchase a portable A/C unit for her room. I felt so poor for her! We were working hard just to keep her in her own room, however periodically it was just too hot. The portable A/C unit absolutely seemed to help. Thewhite noise from the portable A/C unit also helped her to sleep during the night. I am happy that the people I was with and I decided to invest in the portable A/C unit, but every one of us use it in other rooms in the house, as well. Every one of us have even transformed the garage into a home gym and decided to purchase a seventh portable A/C unit for the garage.
