Brother has asthma, now he has pure air

For as long as I can remember my middle brother has suffered from extreme asthma.

When we were kids, his air passageways would spontaneously close in the middle of the night and he would be casting for fresh indoor air. I remember many early mornings when we were all gathered in the living room as he struggled to breathe. There were times that he had to go to the hospital because his aspirator and inhaler weren’t doing anything to help. As an adult, he doesn’t take his respiratory health very seriously. In fact, he’s a pack a day smoker and he relies on mental dissonance to pretend that it doesn’t negatively impact his breathing. With the state of the world and the threat of coronavirus infecting your indoor air, I can’t stand the thought of him living with subpar breathing air. I decided to do something about his respiratory health, since he refuses to take action with his indoor air quality or his smoking habit. Without his permission, I called out my favorite local heating and cooling company to inspect his central HVAC system and recommend upgrades to improve his indoor air quality. We decided to upgrade his normal forced air furnace and air conditioning units air filters first of all. Instead of standard air filters, he now has advanced HEPA filtration for his entire heating and cooling system. Then, I took it one step further and installed an air purification device that connects directly to his current HVAC set up. Now, whether he likes it or not, over 99% of his airborne contaminants and toxins are being filtered out by HEPA filters and advanced filtration devices. Take that, big bro.
