I was one of the very first to get one of those things when they first came onto the heating and cooling market some years ago.
Still to this day, there are not a whole lot of people who have remote controls to their central heating and air conditioning systems because they now have smart thermostats. Smart thermostats are more or less the modern method of having remote controlled heating and air conditioning systems. However, I never believed in smart thermostats or had the desire to want to use of those things. I don’t even own a smart phone. So that’s the main reason why. However, my remote control broke to my central heating and air conditioning system recently after all these years and I wanted to get a replacement. They are very hard to find because they are today outdated. Like I said, the smart thermostats are the way people are going today. But I was lucky enough to have been able to find a replacement remote control for my exact model central heating and air conditioning system online thanks to some deep searching. It was actually a brand new and unused remote for my exact central heating and air conditioning system from old factory stock from the day that was never sold. So I really lucked out I would say. If this remote breaks, I will probably have no choice but to go the smart thermostat and smart phone rout like the rest of the world.
