I have to say that people are interesting.
The way they spend their pastime and the things that they do can be very different.
For instance I have a friend who likes to repair old heating and air conditioning equipment in his spare time. Once he repairs it he either sells it on ebay or sells it to used heat and a/c dealerships. It’s a neat little business he has going over there. He will go to junkyards or sometimes pass by people’s homes where they are throwing away broken old heating and air conditioning equipment. He will ask them if it is ok if he takes the stuff and most of the time they are fine with it. This is because they think that it is useless and can not be fixed. If they only knew what my friend was doing with their broken down old heating and air conditioning equipment they probably wouldn’t be so quick to give it away to him. It’s not sleazy in the least, it’s just that many people do not educate themselves with more information about heating and air conditioning equipment. When they think they are broken they throw them out. This is mostly with portable heating and air conditioning equipment. That is the majority of what my friend fixes up and resells. It is very rare that he will actually get a central heating and cooling system unit of any kind. However that has happened a few times and he has made a small fortune when it does!
