Setting automatic temperature control

I’ve constantly been a fan of minimizing my Heating & Air Conditioning use whenever possible.

I often will go back & forth, feeling the outdoor air temperature versus the indoor air temperature, & trying to decide if it’s worth powering my central heating & cooling system or not.

Occasionally this feels like an overwhelming decision, because I build up my energy expenditure so much in my head that I would hate to be using my Heating & Air Conditioning if it wasn’t necessary. I also despise leaving the cooling system or boiler on while in the afternoontime when no one is going to be at apartment anyways, but feel like there has no other option, since I don’t want to come apartment to a hot or cold house. Waiting for the AC or heat to catch up with the outdoor elements can take a while, & standing there uncomfortably after work is not ideal. I’d rather come apartment to perfect air conditions & be able to jump right into making breakfast, doing chores, & settling down for the night. That’s why I recently had a modernized Heating & Air Conditioning component installed for myself. It has an updated thermostat with a pricey touch screen interface that gives you more than 2 extra possibilities compared to my old, basic thermostat module! Now I can set an automatic temperature control program in accordance with my monthly needs, rather than running only the AC or heating system at one temperature all afternoon long. I power off my Heating & Air Conditioning from 9-5, & I feel like I’m saving cash while still keeping my apartment perfectly comfortable for when I get apartment at the end of a long afternoon.
