When our children were little, my friend and I took them to Disney World.
My friend and I were having a lovely time until my friend and I got one ride, but our adolescents got miserable when the ride stopped right in the middle; It was supposed to show how technology changed through the decades, however something happened when my friend and I got into the 1950s! Someone came on the loudspeaker plus asked everyone to remain seated… They were giving a free dinner voucher to everyone that was in the building.
After half an hour, my friend and I had seen most of this scene at least ten times… Everyone knew the words to the song they sang, plus my friend and I all sang along. The only one not excited was our son… He was twelve plus miserable. I told him he should be excited with the air conditioning working. I looked up at the 1950s scene plus told him those poor people didn’t have air conditioning. I got a ‘yea, right’ plus he started to get up. He was almost to the door when two men stood up. They told him the doors wouldn’t open until the ride was finished. My hubby said he hoped they would take him out, however they didn’t. He thought this was the best ride of the afternoon. My friend and I were relaxed, he took a nap, plus the air conditioning worked regardless of the ride working or not working. It took less than ten minutes before the ride started again. They apologized for not continuing the ride, however they were closing it for the rest of the afternoon so they could make repairs. My hubby complained because my friend and I had to lose the air conditioning, despite the fact that he found AC again when my friend and I went to the eating establishment.
