I went to visit my mom and dad on Tuesday this week.
I usually only go to visit my mom and dad once a month, because it is almost a hundred miles between the two of us.
I had to meet with a shopper about 25 miles from that venue where my mom and dad live, so I decided to pop in and surprise them Tuesday. I called my mom to make sure that she was home, although I did not tell her that I was just around the corner. My mom told me that she was making cookies and my dad was doing something downstairs in the basement! When I got to my mom’s house, she was easily surprised to see me. I told her that I was going to stay and have some dinner. He told me she said that on the table and she was going to make me a sandwich, but she told me that she had already eaten dinner, but there were some leftover things and she was going to make me a plate. While I was sitting at the table, I noticed something leaking from the bottom of the window A/C unit in the kitchen. My mom and dad do not have central air conditioner. I have tried to talk them into central air conditioner 100 unusual times, but they are stuck in their ways and just savor window A/C units. I told my mom that the unit in the kitchen was leaking and she told me it was fine. Apparently, she knew that there was a problem and it did not matter at all
