The HVAC repairman convinced my friends to try a new product

My friends made multiple HVAC maintenance calls to the HVAC business until the HVAC repairman told them they might need to change to a new HVAC unit.

  • The repairs were becoming too expensive, and it only made sense to have them do a new HVAC installation.

They had tried everything, from changing their air filters frequently to installing a smart thermostat, but their previously good quality HVAC had given up on them. The unit they were using was only five years old, so they swore to be more cautious with HVAC brands when they bought the next one. The HVAC provider told them to try installing a ductless heat pump and shared some of its advantages. As much as it was expensive, it seemed a more energy-effective option, so they’d eventually get to save. Their previous unit had been bought off Amazon. Still, this time round, the HVAC professional told them to buy only from the local business so that they would be assured about the quality and the viability of the warranty. The change was made immediately after the last repair because they knew it wouldn’t be enough to fix the old unit. The heat pump was all they needed as help for indoor comfort because they hadn’t had any repairs for a long time. If anything, they now recommend the heat pump for everyone they hear has an a/c issue. Their most recent plan is to remove the ducts from their house. They are convinced they will never need them again and have suddenly started calling them unsightly. They were pretty new because the repair on the previous unit had also included a change of the ducts.
