Twice a year for A/C maintenance

I learned from my dad how to be responsible with home care and service.

We don’t let leaves and debris collect on our rooftop so that it can rot away the shingles and require roof repairs.

That’s how some people get indoor water damage while in heavy storms. I saw this happen with all of the hurricanes that pushed through our area while in the previous autumn season. If you didn’t have a newer roof that was well tested, you likely had a yellow tarp on your roof for weeks or months after the storm while you waited on roof repairs or replacements. But roof care is not the only form of home service that is within one’s responsibility on a year by year basis. You also need to keep the filters in your A/C and gas furnace replaced correctly with once a year or twice a year repair and service visits. It’s smart to keep up with these twice a year repair visits simply because your A/C will stay functioning in a much better state than it would otherwise. Your cooling serviceman will check your air pressure and your coolant pressure, among other things. You might even need your condensate line cleared if there is a clog. So with twice a year cooling service, you’re less likely to run into unforeseen program troubles. It’s much smarter to be good with service to prevent any extreme problems with the cooling program that could otherwise be avoided. I also save on cooling repair contracts by paying for two years at a time instead of simply one year. It’s not an immense savings, but it counts for something.
