The tune-up appointment didn't take very long to complete

The list included all of the electrical and mechanical components, that ductwork, and most of the same items that are included in the residential service checkup

Once a year, I make sure to have an HVAC tune-up performed on the machine in my home. The HVAC unit uses a ton of energy and it has to work efficiently in order to keep the energy bills low. A tune-up will usually vary from one place to another, but I found a contractor nearby that offers a full service checkup for less than $100. During the checkup, they really examine every part of the heating and cooling unit. They inspect the ductwork and look at the heat pump and the air conditioner. They check the refrigerant levels and all of the safety switches. They flush the drain line and clean out the traps. I contacted the HVAC company that handles the residential services for my home and I scheduled an appointment for my business. I thought it would take a lot longer for that business service to be completed, but I was actually surprised by how fast it was done. The service tune up technician was in and out of the building in less than an hour. The service technician also provided me with a copy of the checklist that includes every part of the system that was examined. The list included all of the electrical and mechanical components, that ductwork, and most of the same items that are included in the residential service checkup. I was pleased with the service and will likely continue to use the company for all of my service needs in the future. It’s hard to find a company that offers more than one service, especially in a small town like mine.
