There are many times in my life where I wondered if I was ever going to achieve my dream.
I had even thought multiple times that I didn’t deserve to achieve my dreams.
I wanted to become a HVAC specialist and then eventually own my own heating and A/C. However, due to my own fear I ended up skipping A/C school and instead going to a local community college. I graduated and then went to work like everyone else. I spent a decade of my life working low end, miserable jobs. All the while, I was secretly wishing to go back to what I originally wanted. It wasn’t until I was in my mid 30s, that I had a realization. I realized that I am eventually going to get old, and when I look back, I want to see something positive done with my life, not all of these boring forgettable jobs. The path I was heading was going nowhere, and it was then I quit my job and went to HVAC university. I graduated a year later, and was hired that same year as an HVAC worker. I then worked as a HVAC specialist for 7 years, before saving up enough money to start my own heating and A/C business. Now, I am finally where I always wanted to be, and it feels so good to be here. There is no better feeling than watching all of your hard work pay off, and finally accomplishing something that you wanted to do, but were afraid of originally. I was so afraid of failure that I let it hold me back for years, but not anymore.
