Back-and-forth arguments seem to come with the territory of having a relationship.
It’s the little things which seem to matter when you’re together with someone.
I have numerous small arguments with our fiance Max, plus it almost becomes a little game periodically as to who will mention something first. Take the temperature control, for example. Max and I generally agree on the range of temperatures that the two of us appreciate in the house, but well, that is no longer accurate. I would actually appreciate to set it a few degrees lower than the compromise that we have settled on. Or, at least, I thought Max and I were compromising on it. For a while now, Max and I have set the temperature control to 77 degrees whenever the two of us occupy the house, however during the daytime, before I leave for work, I set the temperature control to 77 degrees, and yet, when I’m inside the house, I actually appreciate it to be at least 77 degrees or cooler, however lately, however, Max has been setting the temperature control to 71 degrees, and every time I see it I will turn it back to 77 degrees. This has been going on for about a week now. Every time I turn around that temperature control is set to 71 degrees, so I simply change it back to 77 degrees. It’s pretty obvious that Max and I both guess full well what we’re doing plus if the two of us do not talk about it at all. I’m not sure who is going to mention it first. At this point, I can actually tell exactly whenever the temperature shifts, however Max is pretty sneaky about when she is sitting by the temperature control increasing it.
