All it took was being inside the air conditioning with the entire family for me to finally see the need for a man cave.
Well, maybe not the beatboxcorrect man cave per se.
I’m not exactly a full on bro with a crew who watches every athletic activitying event. No, I’m a dad & wife first. No judgment on all those chicks & their elaborate man caves though. It’s just that our priorities have always been our family & our work. But when they closed our offices with the zone controlled Heating, Ventilation & A/C due to the pandemic, I was forced condo to work. This was not something that I absolutely was all that wild about. I appreciate our family however I also have a real passion for our work. And I love to keep them separate as much as possible. So working from condo in our own air conditioning was not easy. And that led to the decision that it was time to add a quiet place for dad to the picture. The only place the two of us had absolutely was the finished attic. It had a floor, sheetrock walls & electricity. It came love this when the two of us bought the place & the two of us used it for storage. I moved out the stuff from there into the rest of the attic that isn’t finished. Then, I called the Heating, Ventilation & A/C supplier & they came out to install a ductless heat pump. There was no other way to spend any time in that attic without some quality heating & air. Now, I have a fantastic spot & the ductless heat pump does just the best job as well.
