I am entirely greedy when it comes to property, then my house sits on four acres of land but a lot of it is trees, shrubs and other debris! I have been slowly expanding the property around the house with my shovel, rake and clippers.
I have pulled out shocking amounts of shrubs, clipped vines and even gotten a few trees knocked down, the more I detach, the better it looks; What will I do with all that open space? I am not entirely sure.
More square footage is consistently a bonus though. I absolutely cleared a significant patch right by the side door of our house. I am thinking I could easily connect a deck onto the side. I could have my grill, outdoor furniture and maybe steps leading to a future pool there. What would be entirely cool is if I could screen in the section and add Heating plus Air Conditioning, but having an section that is more outside but with the convenience of heating and cooling would be great. I can stand on my front porch if I want a fresh breeze, although I could stand in the side room if I wanted to be at the right temperature, however sometimes it is just too tepid to be outside. If my deck has a screen, windows and a cooling system, I could be out there all day. I undoubtedly could get by with a space furnace rather than a real oil furnace. I wonder if there is a way to connect to my existing Heating plus Air Conditioning equipment and make the space have temperature control. It is undoubtedly undoubtedly expensive.
