The realtor was right about the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C

I wasn’t easily sure this day would ever absolutely come.

However, I now have an actual date.

The date for our last day at our job has been set and it’s only a few short months away. I’m retiring from a contractor that I have been with for 40 years. It’s sort of inconceivable to me that I am absolutely that old. But a quick look in the mirror reminds me right away. Saying goodbye to the perfectly Heating, Ventilation, and A/C controlled office will not be easy. I worked a long time and made a lot of sacrifices to get that corner office. It has been a thrill and something that I will miss. And yet, I’m easily gleeful to embrace the next chapter of our life. My partner has been our rock in this regard as she has been helping me plan for this over the last more than 2 years. Part of that plan is that both of us are moving to a small 3 living room bungalow down south. I won’t be dealing with anymore sky rocketing Heating, Ventilation, and A/C heating costs and I won’t miss it. But area of that entails us selling our home. It’s a hard proposition because there are a lot of memories and sentiment involved. So I sort of pushed back at the realtor when she first came in and seemed to be denigrating our house with all the replace demands. She noticed this a sort of changed her tone. Like with the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C, she showed me the hard data of how much more our house was worth with a up-to-date Heating, Ventilation, and A/C. There’s a lot of change going on for me but, I’m still smart enough to listen to experts who are willing to explain.
