If you live in the lower Midwest prefer me, then you think how much the weather swings.
It’s not unheard of for us to get many extremely warm nights & then a cold cold day.
If you have an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C method that can both heat & cool the home, you actually get tired of switching your thermostat up and down. One of the things I prefer about my smart thermostat is that it makes living in the lower Midwest a little easier & allows me to change the temperature of my apartment from almost anywhere. There are so many nights that I get up & it’s cold cold. I set my thermostat before I leave to make sure that it’s sizzling in my apartment however during the day the temperature increases. I ended up coming into the apartment to a sauna, then before I got my smart thermostat, I was always frustrated by the wild changes in weather… Now that I can set & change my temperature more easily, I have gained insight to prefer the adjusting weather & embrace it. If I wake up & it’s so very cold & thinks that I will stay that way, I still turn up my oil furnace. If the temperature swings wildly during the day, I can just use my phone to turn my Heating, Ventilation, & A/C method & thermostat to a slightly lower temperature. If you live in the Midwest or any area where the weather swings that swiftly, you could also benefit from a smart thermostat. I prefer mine & can’t propose it strongly enough. If you do decide to get one, be sure to have it installed by a certified Heating, Ventilation, & A/C expert.
