I know that there are a lot of nice things that go along with winter.
- I love the holidays and being able to cuddle up next to the fireplace.
It’s a celebration of the New Year and sometimes it is even fun to play outside in the snow. It seems that no matter what I plan in the winter, usually the cold will come along to ruin them. I think that winter brings a lot less positive than it does negative. I think the new fallen snow is absolutely lovely. Then you need to shovel it from around the house and the roads become treacherous. The kids have a blast when they are sledding, but when they come in, guess who has to deal with the wet clothing. I love all of the holidays but I can’t figure out why they have to all be in the winter. The only thing I am grateful for during the cold weather, is my heating system. My heating system keeps our house warm and comfortable. When my kids want to go out in the snow, I’m fine with it. I know that when they come in, our home will be warm for them because of our heating system. The furnace is good at keeping my home warm and cozy all through the winter. The fireplace is wonderful through the holidays, but it takes a good furnace to keep the entire home warm. I’m not complaining, but I count the days from the first time the temperature goes below to seventy until it comes back up again. Until then, I’ll spend my mornings tucked in beneath the covers and listening to my furnace keep me warm.
