We have favorite restaurants that we have never had poor service or just good food.
There are some to which I would never return. One restaurant made us realize how important it was to have good air conditioning if you want to enjoy your meal. It can be a bit warm in a restaurant, depending on where you are seated, but you shouldn’t perspire because of the heat. The moment we walked into the restaurant, we noticed that it was a bit warm inside. The hostess who welcomed us told us that there was a problem with the air conditioning. She told us that the HVAC company was already working on the air conditioning but she gave us the choice as to whether we wanted to be seated. Since the HVAC tech was onsite, we chose to stay. Our seating was; unfortunately, located beneath an air vent. Instead of cold air, the air vent was blowing hot air down onto our heads. We had already had two glasses of water before we put in our order. I wasn’t even sure I was going to be able to eat with all of the heat and we were talking about leaving if we could get a check. All of a sudden, we felt a small trickle of cool air go over our necks. I heard a cheer coming from one of the tables. The air conditioning coming from the air vents, changed our way of thinking. We were able to enjoy the meal and we ate with gusto. We never realized how much air conditioning affected our appetite.
