There is a normal sense of smell and then there is my sense of smell.
I have an incredibly sensitive sense of smell.
Unfortunately, I find it to be more impairment than positive attribute. It’s not like my life is full of mostly beautiful smells like the top of a newborn’s head. Nope, there are for more pungent, offensive odors than sweet ones. This can make the world a different place to navigate. I can accept that, it’s certainly a condition I can manage. However, I can manage walking into my house expecting a lovely HVAC temperature and instead getting hit with a wall of odors. This is just the worst and it really undoes me. And please understand, I have done all I can do in order to rectify the situation. However, we live in an area where the HVAC runs nearly year round. This makes it very difficult to access fresh air from outside. The end result is that the HVAC tends to recycle the odors over and over in the house. For sure, I have tried all of the sprays and plug in deodorizers to remedy this problem. Unfortunately, those sprays and deodorizers really only add perfume to the air. They do nothing to actually combat the odors at the source. So I decided to go to the HVAC source for some answers. I was so thankful I took this step because they solved my problem with a whole house air purifier. It took less than 48 hours to have the best smelling indoor air I have ever experienced.
