My Grandma always used to tell myself and others that she longed for the simple life again.
I remember what she called simple.
She said they didn’t have air conditioner plus yet they all survived the hot plus humid summers. She would say how they would have only a thin sheet pulled over them during the summer, plus that was enough to keep them cool plus comfortable. I remember sleeping at her home during the summer. It was not cool plus comfortable, no matter how many curtain shades she had drawn to keep the sunlight out. I do agree that life was much simpler back then. People trusted each other plus looked at each other with warmth plus kindness. If I could get into a time machine, I would go back to our Grandma’s time. I would want a modern Heating in addition to A/C system sitting in the time equipment with me. I would enjoy to see our Grandma plus our mother when they were younger. I would enjoy to see how they lived plus worked plus how our mother entirely met our dad. I recognize the most fun would be to find out if their life was much simpler than ours, other than there were a lot fewer people. I would introduce our mother plus Grandma to the modern gas furnace plus the air conditioner unit, just so they could see what to expect. Unluckyly, they would recognize I was silly because they didn’t have modern electricity back then plus the Heating in addition to A/C system legitimately would not work. I also wonder if they would be ecstatic to suppose that their daughter/granddaughter is an Heating in addition to A/C professional.
