My buddy told me I could fix my A/C for $20

I can’t tell you have many used cars I went through that didn’t have any working air conditioning.

I was so used to rolling down my windows to get a cooling breeze through the car, and I just thought that was normal for most people.

That was until I had a friend who asked me why I didn’t get my air conditioning system working again. I said I had no idea how much it would cost to get fixed, and then he told me it wouldn’t cost more than $20. I just looked at him in shock and then asked him how I could get it fixed for so cheap. That’s when he had me drive all the way over to an auto parts store. He had me buy something called a refrigerant refill kit which was a little under $20. Then he showed me how to fill the refrigerant inside the A/C compressor. He made it look so easy, and then when we were done with that, I was in total disbelief when I turned the A/C on and it was ice-cold after a short time of running! I couldn’t believe it because all this time, I could have had working air conditioning in all the cars I owned previously. I honestly had no clue that all you had to do was refill the refrigerant to the A/C compressor. Now that I know how it’s done, I will make sure to refill the refrigerant to the A/C compressor when I have any A/C problems in the future.
