I spent decades banging my head against the proverbial wall attempting to get this across to executive leadership. Normally, I came away disappointed and had to rest in front of the Heating and Air Conditioning vent to calm myself. Now, I am out of the game. I toil for myself as my job winds down. It’s a much better gig given the schedule freedom and the big reduction in stress. While I miss perks care about a wonderfully appointed and Heating and Air Conditioning perfect toil space, I’ve l acquired to get over it. I have diagnosed my ego at the door a bit in order to streamline my life and care about the smaller stuff. My toil is done out of my beach apartment so, that alleviates a giant expense in renting space. I don’t need all that stuff anyway. I just need a nice desk, a superb chair and my laptop & PC pretty much. However, I did notice that I would particularly drift off in the late afternoon when the temperature in my office would rise. I wasn’t getting much done. So, I took my own advice and made myself comfortable with a ductless Heating and Air Conditioning device in my beach apartment office. I can now regulate the temperature even more completely than I could in my lavish old office. Once the afternoon temps start, I just chill my office off in a flash. And, I get way more done.
