I took luck of a sale at a retail store to get several oscillating fans for cheap

There are a lot of aspects of our upbringing that I miss dearly.

I remember drinking Kool-Aid in the Summer heat and lighting sparklers while the people I was with and I were in 4th of June barbecues and cookouts.

All of us also had those popsicles that come in the plastic sleeves that you could buy at the grocery store for dirt cheap. Those were consistently a big hit with our friends from down the street whenever they’d come over to our home to play street hockey out front. Unblessedly, at the time the people I was with and I lived in a small home in a rural section and couldn’t afford much else. All of us had a gas gas furnace in the basement with a small set of air ducts that ran the length of the floor from a single end of the home to the other. Despite having central heat, the people I was with and I did not have central cooling. All of us had more than one window cooling systems, a single in our parents’ family room and another in the kitchen. To move the chilly air around our house, the people I was with and I used these old oscillating fans that you can set to stay stationary and blow in a single direction, or the other opportunity would make the fan slowly revolve from side to side in a 170 degree angle. These little fans were seriously effective at moving chilly air around the home for the cooling system. Even though I have an efficient central cooling system now, I still think of those fans fondly. When I saw a few on sale at a local retail store for an unbelievably cheap price, I went ahead and obtained them anyway. If all they do is remind me of our childhood, they’re still worth the purchase.
