Who took the HVAC

My Grandmother is a foolish old lady who has always been sheltered either by her mama and papa. Occasionally she finds it confusing fending for herself now that Grandpa is gone, because she trusts people! Just a couple of weeks ago, she got ripped off by some supposed Heating and Air Conditioning technicians. Two young guys came to her door plus told my granny that she could get 25% off the replacement of an Heating and Air Conditioning upgrade plus her old Heating and Air Conditioning unit would be offered to a family in need. My granny thought that was an amazing idea, because her old Heating and Air Conditioning device was already about ten or twelve years old plus she was in favor of helping those in need. She was thinking to herself that the current Heating and Air Conditioning device would soon pay for itself by having lower electric bills, especially at 25% off the original price. Well, it turns out that the Heating and Air Conditioning equipment itself wasn’t 25% off, only the work charges were, and granny had to pay full price for the unit, plus her old Heating and Air Conditioning device would have lasted a lot longer! I told granny that she should have talked to myself and others first. I would have looked into the reputation of this corporation. I have never heard of installing used Heating and Air Conditioning systems, and I kinda doubt that a reputable contractor would do that, even for the needy. What’s more, the Heating and Air Conditioning device came with no warranty papers, plus it has started acting up within two weeks. These little “Heating and Air Conditioning specialists” never even gave granny their card or a receipt. For all every one of us can determine, this Heating and Air Conditioning device could be stolen. I guess every one of us should call the cops.
