As a recent graduate, it’s really hard to know what to do with the rest of your life. However, it’s even more difficult to figure out when universities are in such a weird position due to Coronavirus! Every university seems to be scrambling to put forth a program for the fall, however none of them are considering lowering expenses for students. After careful consideration, I’ve made the choice that I’d be better off taking some time building a solid career than enrolling in university. I got some information from my aunt who works for the local heating plus cooling device business. She provided me registration information for the courses I’d need to get my Heating plus Air Conditioning device certification. My aunt says that if I shadow plus train with her contractor 4 days a week, then they will pay for my certification classes. If I pass plus do a superb job, then they will offer me a job! While I wouldn’t say I ever imagined this work for myself, I have constantly had a technical mind. I care about taking things apart plus putting them back together. My mother constantly called me her little handyman when I was being raised. While my peers are sinking further plus further into debt in the midst of a depression, I will be building a savings account plus setting myself up for a good future. Heating plus cooling is a wonderful field to make a solid career in, plus I would be really happy if it ended up being my path. I figure that even if it doesn’t work out for me, I will have more clarity plus financial security in a couple of years to make a decision about my work plus future plans. I am so grateful that my aunt helped me out plus I can’t wait to earn my Heating plus Air Conditioning device certification.
