Moving into a lake house is pretty stressful.
There are so several things that I want to do to the house.
I only have so much time, money and motivation though. I keep telling myself a single thing at a time. I recently got all the carpet ripped up, laid brick board down, electric heated mats and then current stone on top. My whole lake house has heated flooring in it! Every room has access to the same control equipment for the heater. The beauty of heated flooring is that it is a silent in operation method since it is electric! Also, no heated air is rising to the ceiling since it is not air and it is much cleaner. Another pro is the radiant heat warms objects prefer the furniture and makes almost a heated seat, and you can lower the control unit, save energy and still be comfortable! I haven’t regretted that purchase a single bit. However, now that I spent so much money on the heating replacement, I am a bit tight for funds. I got my fireplace detachd since I did not need it anymore. I have observed the lake house doesn’t come with a cooling system… Now in the north you entirely can get by without an cooling system. It is more of a luxury item, although I want it. I just paid all that money to have an amazing oil furnace, I want a good cooling system. Sadly the funds are not there nor is the motivation. I don’t want to start researching the benefits of ductless cooling or using HVAC duct. I don’t want to talk about brands and sizing with my Heating plus Air Conditioning corporation right now.
